• Māori special session: Authors are welcomed to submit full papers to either:

  • Special Issue in Te Reo—The Journal of the Linguistic Society of New Zealand or

  • AFLA 33 Proceedings

• Main Session Talks: Authors may choose to submit full papers to either:

  • Special Issue in Studia Linguistica or

  • AFLA 33 Proceedings

 

• Posters: Authors are welcomed to submit to AFLA 33 Proceedings

• Key dates  

  • Expression of Interest: Please indicate whether you plan to submit a paper by filling out this form by August 7, 2026

  • Full Paper Submission Deadline: December 20, 2026 (applies to all publication outputs).

• Important notes

  • Once we receive your Expressions of Interest, we'll follow up with detailed submission instructions for each option.  

  • Each presentation may only be submitted to one publication option.

  • Submissions to Te Reo and Studia Linguistica will undergo standard peer review, so publication is not guaranteed. Submissions to the Proceedings are guaranteed publication.
