Getting around Wellington

The conference will be held at Victoria University of Wellington Kelburn Campus (18 Kelburn Parade, Wellington), located just above the city centre.
Wellington is a compact and very walkable city, and it’s easy to get around using buses or ride services like Uber. The Kelburn campus is conveniently accessible from the city centre by:
-
Bus (frequent services from the city centre): https://www.metlink.org.nz/services
-
Uber/taxi (typically under NZD $15 ≈ USD $8)
-
Walking (about 15–30 minutes uphill, for those who enjoy a scenic walk)
-
More details about the conference venue will be provided closer to the time.
Staying anywhere in the city centre (Wellington Central / Te Aro area) works well, with easy access to campus via the options above.

Rental Car
-
Available at the airport, though not usually necessary if you’re staying in the city
Overall, the Airport Express bus or an Uber are the easiest options. Wellington is compact, so once you’re in the city centre, most places are within walking distance.
